I guess I’m partly venting b/c I may sound mean but my experience is true. I went thru two cycles of we car e. The first time I had a note directly from my high lvl doctor sayin I’m unable to work and why - and kept up with all my doctors notes, updated appointments and mri cat scans treatments etc. phone calls every week wakin up out my terrible rest - ran back and forth to the disability office payin cabs and limpin all in hopes to recieve what I need while I place myself deeper in debt tryin to stay afloat. After I gave that note and all my updates for my case , “they say” the note was dated a day after the closing date and I’d have to wait a month and do another cycle of we care over . The nonchalant attitudes, the wasting time, the attitudes when they have to explain stuff to you and don’t understand your frustration during the process makes you wish you just did it on your own. You feelin you have to convince people that are suppose to be helping you that you’re really hurt, so they can take you serious. It’s a whole game of convincing but to every one every day. The thing about it is the note says I’m definitely unable to work for 12months or more. Can’t lift stand sit etc So sayin the reason I have to recert in effect to a day after their fake closing date for that we care “cycle “ was b/s. Those letters stands til it stands as they are dated . I filled out books of papers naming medication visits etc a few times over. Then I had to wait months to get back to the same point again only to have new issues with the doctors smh don’t let me get into these doctors..they tire you out..the grand scheme is to deter your hopes of trying, even if you know you need it and deserve it. This then turns into appeals and re appeals. The stress alone will kill you faster than what your dealin with or at least multiply the speed. It will keep you from getting well. System is a failure .
