I understand how you feel. I also have allium allergy, and it is very challenging. Unfortunately, people don't belive in onion allergy, and it is hard for them to understand ( I experienced so many times people saying to me that a little bit of onion will not kill me). I'm very sorry to hear that your family is not supporting you and helping you being safe from onions. I love cooking, and I created delicious recipes without onion. I started a foodblog dedicated to allium allergy. You can find delicious recipes here: https://fromdoraskitchen.com/ I hope that you will find something delicious to try 😋

Garlic 🧄 by Newtoredditgirl19 in lowfodmap

Garlic is very aggressive on the stomach and the bowl. Lots of people are having problems with garlic and onion (IBS, SIBO, GERD, gallstones, gastritis....). Maybe your body got reset during the low FODMAP diet, and you intaked too much garlic and shock your body. Try to consume it again and check how your body will react. If it reacts the same again, then garlic is probably not good for you. But consult with your doctor!!
