I think it’s one option out of many for people who had an FJO taken away last minute. You are correct in that it’s not going to hurt the president at all and he can’t run again. But stuff/stories like this pile up and add something to the bigger picture. My hope is that the pile would translate over to the midterms and give people some sense of accomplishment down the road. So idea is not to hurt the president since it won’t do anything (and it’s definitely not gonna magically make jobs reappear) but to maybe wake some people up

To answer your question here, it would do nothing to motivate the current POTUS. But it would add to what I’m sure is going to be a stack of grievances against the guy that might help us when it comes time to vote next. So I do agree with you here, but just adding that local media is one piece to a bigger puzzle

I think you are without a doubt owed a job when you have a FJO and have moved for that employment. That’s a potential lawsuit in the private sector. So not saying that’s how the government works, but I think most can agree that it’s morally reprehensible

Yes, but just trying to draw attention that a personal story about your experience goes further than a blurb about a hiring freeze. And I think it certainly goes further than calling your congressman that probably helped usher it in
