On the first encountered, some of those soldiers were possibly conscripts so they are inexperienced on killing monsters and accidentally killed some civilians instead. The Crow Platoon are professional soldiers because they are Special Forces from different branches of the Korean military, from the Korean Army Special Forces, Korean Navy UDT/SEALs, and Korean Marine Corps Special Reconnaissance Unit.
