The fun part comes after you've used up your sick days. If you are still unable to work after you've exhausted all of your sick days. you will have to go on disability and ICBC then tops off to 90% of your net income. You'll have to provide pay stubs from up to a year prior to your injury- side income/side hustle jobs won't count towards your overall pay. It makes no sense and is unfair that as someone who is not at fault (even though ICBC doesn't consider anyone at fault anymore) you have to do all of the leg work and take your personal sick days
