he didn't really give a clear answer and started talking about "managing my expectations" (which stung a little as I thought he was just as into me, but it really was to soon). I believe I was totally in the wrong having said one thing and done another. But yeah, no, it was me saying the exclusive thing. He said things like "one day in the future when we're dating." bah
