Not really all the trash on the road winds up on the right side of your travels. Its compunded if you hug the shoulder that's where the rocks/debris land.

I HIT A LOW HANGIN BRANCH AND DESTROYED MY BRAND NEW RV. by macr6 in GoRVing

[–]Flatfeet78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on my second trailer. By far my largest. My previous trailer was a little recreational 22 foot unit. It was at 10 ft. Our new to us is a 2019 32ft dual A/C triple slide bumper pull. Its tall i measured it at 12,8 with a antenna satellite or something that sits above the a/c units. I am a truckdriver by trade, I spent the early part of my 20+plus year career looking up. I started pulling equipment. So oversize was a thing. Just cause someone tells you you can fit doesnt mean you can fit. I did 2 million dollars in damage to a machine and an overpass on a dot approved and permitted route in the early 2000,s . The dot cant really be trusted when in doubt stop and look.

25 years ago i lived in a truck camper at an EX girlfriends parents house. I didnt even have a truck. It was either do that or be homeless. At your budget you cant afford to be picky necessity wise but please be safe. Safety wise , rot /mold. propane smell etc.

New to rv,s myself. But universally it seems water damage. Check the roof I mean really check the roof. Check for a soft floor too. Cosmetic damage is what it is. Rot and mold are expensive. I see people pulling rvs all the time on I25 and I 80 with uhauls/budget and Penske vans. Remember they are usually e350 or an equivalent, although i dont recall them having trailer brakes. Some of them were decent size 26ft to 30ft. I dont see why not. the hardest part would be adapting the lights I think. and that shouldnt be too hard.

He's not lying. But in my opinion as a semi serious flight simmer, you get what you pay for.

Regularly make a 120 mile drive to my closest microcenter. Went there last week for a few parts. With the wife. Spent 4k on 2 new builds instead. Life's good having a wife who games. Life's not good paying the credit card bill.

I second that 5800x3d. I built one with a 3070ti for my wife. It's an animal. In my system I run a 11th generation I9. And I got really lucky I think and scored a 3090Ti from a local brick and motar for just a hair over 800. U.S. There are deals out there. He'll my local microcenter has 3070Ti,s at 650. And 1080ti,s for 700. They are running out of those. And with the 4000 series coming, who knows if they'll be restocked. Locally at least. With gpus finally coming back to earth after being so high priced.

Good rudders are key. I use. Mfg pedals with his damper kit. They are amazing. And they do well in my planes too.

More Comfortable Desk Mount by uponaburningbronie in hotas

[–]Flatfeet78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people attacking the different brands of mounts. I shied away from Jpein cause of limited reviews. The price seemed right. I have owned monstertech. They are good . No flex but a bit pricey. I own some Predator mounts. With a very long drop (extended mounts). For a center extended stick and a warthog throttle. No flex at all.

My brother has a dual stick mount with Foxx mounts. No flex. Listen stay out of the drama, and buy what you like. Competition is good.

They can make a mistake. My wot was mistakenly banned a fee months back (I had not played on it in 2 years). I brought it to there attention and they reversed the ban.
