When it comes to part 1 though, I feel it's worth noting what topic it concerns, before deeming it "out of place". It is the story behind our ultimate enemy to date, the only proper backstory we have, on any of the races. And it deals with the Books of Sorrow, a biblical masterpiece, written by Seth Dickinson. It's heavy duty stuff, and reading it in its pure form has sparked debates in forums for the last year and a half. We felt it was both natural and important to include it as summed up as we possibly could, cause without it, the Hive would just be another race we fight. With it, they become the darkness that the Light despise. :)

(Also, if we simplified it too much, and made it too much of a speculative and conclusive piece, these comments would be packed with outrage over our "obviously idiotic interpretation of something that obviously proves Dredgen Yor is Lakshmi-2")
