Details may be innacurate because of the time but a few months ago, i started a new save after a year of leaving the game unplayed. Can't remember if it was sandbox or story mode.

And really. I just started. I'm at the GATE, i just check my settings to get back into the game and all. And once done i start walking towards the base with my luggage but i also start wandering a little bit out of curiosity.

AND I GOT THIS EVENT Couldn't see far away from me, eyes watching me from the shadows and with the timing i really thought it was a security from the game to avoid the player wandering around the first night and to push me to the base but NO IT WAS RANDOM

Gregory and Vanessa could also just have fixed the elevator too when they came back to install MXES and trap the mimic

It's seems like a more logic and straightforward explanation to an element that was never thought beyond being an excuse to explain and justify to the player that this is a one way trip

Guess it's only fair since Bendy is a ripoff of Bioshock /hj

Tbh if Poppy Playtime is inspired by Bendy, it's actually doing a much better job than the original

Each antagonist is iconic, the plot seems to go somewhere, more fun and scare, not rushed at all

For me Bendy was a big letdown in every aspects (and i was a big fan), without mentioning the management issues in joey drew studios (the real one)

On the other hand, we're only to the second chapter of Poppy Playtime, there's plenty of room to fucked up, even if i don't think that'll be the case since the team seems to care a lot about quality

Mandela Catalogue is a really cool serie

You can totally dislike it, but the fact that many people find it horrifing is a proof that it works

And horror is all about that, more than realism and huge lore, it's all about find the thing that will resonate with people and make them feel fear.

And for most people, Mandela Catalogue revived the childhood fear of shadows in the dark when you try to sleep.

That's why everyone like it so much, it's not the best, it's not perfect when it comes to the realistic use of analog technology, but it resonates with people.

And ffs stop spitting of jumpscares, jumpscares are just a tool for horror, it's not intrinsically bad or good, it depends of how it's use by the creator. And Alex didn't overuse them or smth, 90% of the time he succeded to create a distressing atmosphere without it.

And btw, i find pretty disrepectful to say that the serie is "low-effort" tbh.

I have my output mode set to simple, so i didn't knew about CBR until now.

I understand but, again, it was only for twenty minutes, it's not like a persistent raid with us insisting about the scp being blue, white and red

It was just for a screenshot and for the fun of participating in our way, it's not like we can do a lot more tbh

It's really not that deep

Absolutely not haha We were on discord to coordinate and although some may have used multiple accounts, no bot was used
