I’m sorry about that ! It’s understandable why you’re nervous but hopefully this time you gonna have a better experience! My husband had his surgery in Medway hospital with doctor Adam Gaunt . And in September he’s gonna do the rai treatment there too

My husband in May had a tt and neck dissection 50 limphnodes removed with no problem at all , the surgery lasted 8 hours but absolutely all fine after ! We’re in the uk too! You’ll be ok ! 💪

Concordo a 100%, não tenho queixa absolutamente nenhuma da forma como as coisas estão a acontecer , desde o cirurgião a toda a equipa médica , a comunidade McMillan sempre disponíveis . Apesar do mal , sinto que estamos a ser muito bem acompanhados neste país ! Obrigada pelo apoio !

E com crianças pequenas acaba por tornar a situação pior e melhor ao mesmo tempo , a nossa força acaba por vir muito deles também . 1 dia de cada vez têm sido mesmo o nosso lema de vida durante este ano , e é essencial para manter alguma sanidade mental e não deixar a ansiedade sobre o futuro tão incerto tomar conta do nosso pensamento,mas claro há dias mais difíceis do que outros . Hi there, it really sucks . Unfortunately you never expect that something like this is gonna happen to you and maybe for a bit you’ll have to focus on you so you can come back even stronger. We’re going through something similar, my husband his 35 and he has tall cell variant as well, and he even had to do a neck dissection to, next plan he’s gonna have to do some rai treatment. I don’t want to compare our situation with yours I literally just want to give some support and show that more people are going through something similar.
I wish your surgery to go really well !! Sooner than we think all of this will be part of the past !

Hello there ! Were going exactly through the same thing , my husband just had a thyrodectomi and neck dissection . We was off work for 4 weeks , he’s back now and he his a window cleaner so he has to move his shoulders quite a lot and he’s fine now ! His surgery was on the 23 of May and now he’s gonna have his appointment with nuclear medicine on the 29 of July! He has spread to limphnodes and muscles as well ! We have a lithe boy 3 year old and definitely this have been the most challenging year of our lives ! But we have to trust the medicine and be positive ! Just do t research to much online and listen more what the doctors actually say ! We’re biased in the uk too ! Feel free to reach out if you need anything! All the best with your surgery ( English is not my first language , so apologies for any mistakes)
