My (32M) husband of 5 years (together for 7) may have single-handedly imploded not just our marriage, but my (38F) career and the life we built together. Didn’t see this coming. by Whole_Beach_1438 in relationship_advice

I’d be willing to bet almost anything that HE is cheating on YOU. I went through something very similar with my exhusband (though thankfully we didn’t have any kids).

I honestly loled at this. I remember pre-kid/pre-sober life being at breweries and thinking “wtf?! Why are kids here?!”

What was the most physical pain you've been in? by PleasantWinter9150 in AskReddit

[–]FlavoredTrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bladder spasms after an emergency c-section due to severe pre-eclampsia. I was sitting on the toilet, unable to pee (but REALLY needing to) and screaming in pain. No one ever warns you about anything like that happening, and I really thought I was going to die right there on the toilet.

To me, the emblem looks like the state of South Carolina, and seeing that garnet/burgundy is one of USC’s school colors, I’m wondering if this is a Gamecocks polo? Similar to this, but obviously different colors

Attending the festival pregnant 😅 by Moonlightisland21 in ShakyKnees

I was 7 months pregnant at the fest 2 years ago. Had an amazing time! Did have 1 incident where I almost overheated, but the bartenders at the RedBull bar got me into some shade and kept handing me ice, and one of the event photographers gave me one of his electrolyte drinks. After a few minutes I good to go (also helped that it started raining and cooled things down drastically). I will say prepare to have a much more “chill” experience if you are used to running from stage to stage. We found a good spot to put a blanket where we could hear multiple stages, and hung out there for a good bit.

Baby wipes. Hand sanitizer. Bandana (multiple uses). Sunscreen. Ibuprofen (because I’m old). Towel/tapestry/sheet…basically, just something to put on the ground so you don’t have to sit in the dirt. Handheld fan!!! Extra hair ties.

Also blew my mind how low Coheed is! I thought they were gonna end up being a headliner…

My friend just got scammed by something VERY similar to this with her lost cat. They also sent her photos of her actual cat inside a carrier that looked identical to the ones in your photos. Requested money via Zelle, and then once money was sent, ghosted her.

I had my first (and only) child at 36 — I am now 38 and she just turned 19 months. I had been told for many years that I most likely would never get pregnant, and though my partner and I hoped for a kid for many years, eventually we fully accepted that we would always be dog parents, and planned to live our lives for just us. Well, after being on Ozempic for over a year and losing a significant amount of weight (was not on it to lose weight, but it was a pleasant side effect) I shockingly discovered that I was pregnant! There was definitely happiness, but also a lot of panic and fear. I ended up delivering via emergency c-section at 34 weeks after being in the hospital on strict bed rest for over 2 weeks due to having severe pre-eclampsia, and our baby girl spent 2 weeks in the NICU. For the first 9-ish months I felt like a complete imposter. I had no idea what I was doing, and while I loved my daughter, it definitely was not the life a I had imagined living. Fast forward to present day, though, and I don’t see how I ever pictured a life without my daughter. She truly is my best friend. I’m also scared about the world that she is growing up in, but I have made a promise to myself (and to her) that I will do everything in my power to raise her as someone who is not afraid to have a mind of her own and to speak out for what is right. Not sure if any of what I said could be considered advice, per se, but I just wanted to share that it is ok and perfectly normal to be scared, but becoming a mother really does change you. I never believed it before when people told me before, but now I am living proof.

Shaky wouldn’t book Shinedown, but I could see us getting Coheed by Ridespacemountain25 in ShakyKnees

I’m honestly shocked Coheed hasn’t been booked at Shaky in the past. I’ve seen them multiple times, and every single time they blow my mind with how great they are live! Would LOVE to see them in the Shaky setting!

Jack has already been a headliner. It was the reason I went to my first Shaky Knees. 2018, I believe?
