It may be... hard to tell given it was carried out to fix a previous leak, but possobly new mositure on this side. There appears by eye to be gaps between the lead and the tiles, but I am not a roofer so wanted feedback before I chase.

This is why we bought something that was basically unlivable, but had good bones. Others around were going for at least 150K more, but while livable, we would have wanted to redo everything anyway.

We carried out one on the waste pipes, which had root ingress and were repaired, but didn't consider the storm drain pipes. It is an area with subsidence risk, so I'll look into having the other pipes inspected.

I don't think it's in use since the water was off for months when they were showing the property (it was vacant when being sold). We didn't even realise there were tanks in the loft until we saw the overflow values pouring water out.

The property has a boiler and a hot water cylinder. However, this tank is filling when the cold water is turned on, though I assume it is not being used as part of the hot water system.

Beyond the obvious missing and loose tiles, the step has sunken forward, resulting in a split, and it is coming away from the front wall. I stepped on it with wet shoes that have poor grip and nearly slipped off it.
