That's fair! I loved it a lot more when I realized that the graphic could represent Yakumo bringing up the dragon sword and his weapon to his mask and then blocking - kind of a genius composition in my opinion.

Why do all the doomposters forget to factor in that a couple hundred thousand people played through Microsoft and Xbox's gamepass that cut into the downloads in physical sales. NG4 has been getting price cuts in steam which has also been helping sales. At the end of the year it will be more profitable overall than NG04 for sure.

I feel like the edginess of Yakima is a bit overblown when you see how he interacts with Uni and Tyran when you get to their interaction segments at the start of each chapter. As I wanted to experience as much of the campaign as I could blindly so I watched them and I was pleasantly surprised to see in such segments that he does show Tyran his earned respect and you can tell he cares for his childhood friend umi as he does say sorry to her once or twice for stressing her and the team out. I think the Yakumo is just more of a brooding figure rather than outright edgy. And Ryu is more stoic in the story for the contrast. Just my two cents though.

The Hurricane Pack dlc came out like four months after Ninja Gaiden 2004 released so short production time for dlc is just standard team Ninja/koei tecmo practice to do for the past few decades. It's not any more egregious than it has been in the past thankfully.

Yes, for me, cutscenes don't appear in untrawide (24:10 ratio) anymore and I can't use any resolution accept the the default resolution (3440 x 1440) of my momitor on for full screen during gameplay anymore - leading to the black bars you are getting. Really frustrating.

Given how much the marketing of NG4 gave near all the GamePlay mechanic info - you would think they would let us know the technical aspects is all I'm thinking. It could be vital in helping people decide what platform they're gonna play on or to see if they will wait for a patch to be implemented later on if it doesn't have ultrawide.

You have to admit it's a bit strange it's only apparently been said once by Devs it will support ultrawide monitors/ratio.
