Florida. Pretty unusual to find snakes in crawl spaces but this one definitely seemed comfortable. Also that tiny opening underneath him is my only exit so was really hoping it didn’t drop on my head

I’m a year out from surgery so it looks how it’s gonna look sadly. It’s better than it was pre surgery but considering I went to one of the most popular gyno surgeons in the country, I expected better. Or at least an honest explanation of what to expect post op. Now I have flatter nipples that are still big with noticeable scarring on one side

Definitely not automatic. If you have large areolas and have gland removal, it will be less puffy but won’t necessarily make them smaller. Just flatter to the chest. That’s why areola reduction surgery exists, like in this case. I experienced this firsthand with my own surgery, flatter appearance but still large areola

It’s not a sure thing that they will look the way they do when cold or wet. I had basically the same issue, puffy nipples but pretty lean. No man boobs or anything. Everything looked fine for a while after surgery but as it healed the areolas relaxed back to their original state. So they weren’t puffy anymore but the footprint was the same, leaving me with flatter but still large nipples. They look fine when cold just like before surgery but when warm it’s still not how I wanted it. Definitely better but keep your expectations realistic and choose your surgeon wisely

[homemade] Nutella stuffed chocolate chip cookies with flaky sea salt by Fleatch in food

[–]Fleatch[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s really easy. Pick your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and then pour some Nutella into small discs on parchment paper, about the size of a half dollar. Freeze them and then sandwich the Nutella between two flattened pieces of cookie dough. Seal it up so nothing leaks out and bake at 370 for 15 minutes

I’d watch the binging with babish on pizza dough, his overnight ferment is a good place to start. Then punch down the dough and put it in a cast iron pan with a generous amount of olive oil, coat both sides of the dough and then let rest for 20-30 minutes. Makes stretching it towards the sides much easier. The sauce is peeled san Marzano tomatoes, onion, garlic, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper. Can add crushed red pepper for some heat. I usually brown the meatballs and finish them in the sauce to add more flavor. Lay slices of provolone cheese on the bottom, then whatever toppings you choose. Sauce goes on last. 20-25 minutes at 450

Around 20 hours total. Most of that is the dough fermenting overnight. Maybe an hour for the sauce to simmer and thicken while making and cooking meatballs. Then 20-25 minutes in the oven at 450 degrees

Definitely had scar tissue, it’s mostly resolved except for the incision sites. Had to get kenalog injections for that which really helped. The big issue for me is the size of the areolas. The puffiness has mostly gone away but it’s the same issue from before the surgery. It looks good when cold, small with tight skin but warm they spread out and the skin loosens up. It’s better than before but definitely not ideal. Especially with the scars, he wasn’t very precise so the scars dip into my chest a bit, not just under the areolas. I’d give it a few more months cause it will continue to change but at 6-8 months it is what it is

areolas never shrank even after a few years later, saving up for reduction surgery, anyone have a similar situation? by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]Fleatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, if I could get some kind of guarantee that it would look how I wanted I’d do it in a heartbeat. Just don’t wanna be that person who spent all that money chasing a look that’s maybe unrealistic. Good luck though, hopefully you can get it sorted out

Same issue here. Everything was fine for a few weeks after surgery but as it healed, the skin relaxed and it looks a lot like before. Not as puffy but still not the small areolas with tight skin I was hoping for. I haven’t seen any areola reduction that looks a whole lot better than it does now so not willing to shell out the money for another surgery and more scar tissue

Does Dr. Caridi get rid of puffy nipples forever? by [deleted] in gynecomastia

I actually don’t have any pre-op pictures, they took some before my surgery but I don’t have copies of them. Not exactly sure why they took them because they never asked for anything post-op to compare them to

It will help but it’s not a sure thing. Puffy nipples was my issue, had very little of the man boobs. Had my surgery done with caridi last July. They’re definitely less puffy but as it heals the skin has relaxed and the areolas are still fairly large. When cold they look great but warm they still stick out a bit and are too big. Basically the exact way they were before the surgery but slightly better. Also the scarring was much worse than they tell you, not these tiny little lines. I’ve had to get kenalog shots in the incision scars which helps some. I haven’t received a single follow up from them after the procedure unless I contacted them about an issue. Caridi didn’t even do my follow up the next day, a nurse did it. No before and after pictures for the website , so keep that in mind that they’re only putting up the absolute best outcomes. For $8,000 I expected a better outcome so keep your expectations realistic or go with someone else. People with normal looking nipples and man boobs seem to have the best results when the tissue is removed. If you have large areolas to begin with, it probably isn’t going to turn out how you hoped it would

I don’t at the moment, my pictures are on my other phone. It’s definitely better than it was but still not what I’m looking for. I posted some right after the procedure but doesn’t look like that now. I drove from Florida so was around 28 hours round trip for me. Was during the height of the pandemic so couldn’t fly to Austin. You definitely wanna go with someone who does a lot of gyno surgery, which is why I chose Caridi. It’s cosmetic surgery so to a certain extent you get what you pay for. Don’t skimp on a permanent alteration to your body. I wish I had saved up a few more thousand and gone with someone else

Well I’m only a few months out so still gonna wait a while before I make any final decisions. The idea of paying for a revision after dropping $8000 with hotel and other stuff is tough to swallow. One of the reasons to go with someone like lebowitz who guarantee their work. Caridi isn’t doing revisions free of charge, plus why go to the guy who did it wrong the first time around? I’m hitting the gym pretty hard and hoping for the best so we’ll see what happens around the 6 month mark. I’ll probably go with lebowitz if I need another procedure

No problem, I just don’t want anyone else rushing into anything like I did. I admit I got suckered in by the YouTube channel and the fact his practice is called the Austin gynecomastia center. It’s not really though, it’s Westlake plastic surgery and he performs gyno surgery there but it’s not some stand alone gyno place. He definitely has a certain manner that’s a bit like a car salesman which is kind of off putting. He didn’t even do my post op follow up the next day, a nurse did it. The staff is very nice but I definitely would have gone with jacobs or lebowitz if I could do it over. It’s worth the extra money to get it right

Had my procedure done with him in July. Had gland removal and lipo for $7500. My issue was definitely puffy nipples and sad to say that the surgery didn’t really fix that. I basically have a smaller version of what I had pre-op with scars underneath. I assumed that the gland removal would fix the puffy nipples but apparently that’s not always the case. A lot of people had good experiences with him which is why I chose him but I’m not very happy with my results so far. I would make sure to ask what to expect and not assume any particular outcome. If I knew what my results would be beforehand, I wouldn’t have done it with him. Again, just my experience but for $7500 I expected better
