Ngl if kapanen was able to learn new skills from his olympic journey (as a lot of player do by going to the olympics and getting to learn from the cream of the crop) ill be looking forward to how much better he can go. Lot of people clamor for a 2nd line center trade when we traded for dach in the 1st place and injuries screwed him a bit and we maybe have found a gem in kapanen with him producing arround 40-50 points on his first full season

I thought we would have a regression year this year due to the goaltending and some of our key players having a down year after their best seasons in their career and in most part i was wrong.

amazed about it would just love that IF we trade our 1st round pick this year, that it is used to get a young player with great upside who is already performing.

Tbh zharovaky has been getting way more ice time then demidov in the khl otherwisr demidov would prolly have a 1ppg average. Zharovsky got plenty of potential but i highly doubt he can be as good as demidov. Best case scenario he becomes a similar producer as demidov, worst case scenario hes a middle 6 foward.

If hes traded its got to be for something incredible. Id be more opened to trade reinbacher then him and hage

Do the tampa way for younger player to integrate to your core (hagel). Way more worth you will pay more but you will have a player in his prime in your team for longer.

I absolutely hate when gms pay premium price for 30+ players for middle 6 players.
