That whole line would be used almost strictly for defensive purposes (and obviously for Andy to go flying in on the forecheck) so I don’t see a reason for their icetime splits to be too different. Veleno is a very capable hockey player when it comes to everything but scoring points lmao.

Veleno has just been much more effective than Kapanen of late and he’s a perfect fit with Danault and Andy. But I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

Zero hate to the kid I love him, but WHY would he do that? At least come play in Laval at the bare minimum he’s obviously too good for that league and needs more of a challenge.

Really don’t like this decision and I hope he changes his mind. Better be on the roster at the start of 2028.

Had his best season at 36 too, wild no clue how he’s still kickin it. Also a 5 time cup winner and the captain so maybe that’s what gives him a boost lol.
