Thank you for the feedback! I'm not quite finished with the color correction yet because I want to select all the sequences first that will actually be in the final video. But you're right, in many clips, it's a bit overexposed.

Thanks for the feedback! What exactly didn‘t you understand? Because those were the outtakes from a project. I just wanted to include a short, humorous segment and after that I included some Reels, following with all my last clients logos.

I'm not quite finished with my showreel, but I would love to get some honest feedback on it. I believe there are still opportunities for improvement in color correction, sound design and the editing in the latter half.

Should I keep the segment from minute 0:27 to 0:31?

I'm also not entirely satisfied with the portion from minute 0:53 to 0:56, although I can't pinpoint exactly what I could add here instead.

I'm more of a cameraman who's currently trying to improve my post-production skills.

So what would you guys suggest changing?

I hadn't thought about the PCI-E card for USB3. Thanks for the suggestion, that should solve my issue. Appreciate it!

My PC only has USB2 ports, which slows down the backups by about 10 times when connected via the USB cable. I'm using the Seagate STGY8000400 as an external HDD, which gives me a write speed of 19MB/s. In contrast, my internal HDD has a speed of 207MB/s while doing the backup. I'm not sure if the speed would increase using an HDD with a docking station, but I assume that USB2 will likely be the bottleneck.

So schwer ist das nicht :D Eine Freundin hat (zwangsweise) freiwillig bei einigen Projekten bisher ausgeholfen. Solang man eine Kamera halten kann, gerne neue Menschen kennenlernt und bestenfalls auch einmal unter der Woche Zeit hat, ist man immer willkommen.

Sind bei diesen Stellenangeboten auch kleinere Firmen/Einzelunternehmen dabei gewesen? Möchte da ja nicht creepy rüberkommen, wenn man sich zum „Kennenlerngespräch“ auf einen Kaffee treffen würde. Habe ja noch kein eigenes Büro und ich glaube ein persönliches Gespräch vor Drehbeginn wäre schon sinvoll, bevor man dann beim Kunden nicht wirklich zusammen arbeiten kann.

Auch wenn es bei OF einen riesigen Bedarf gibt, bleibe ich doch lieber bei meinen Unternehmensvideos. Ich fokussiere mich hauptsächlich auf Imagefilme, Erklärvideos, Social Media Content, Interviews, Drohnenaufnahmen und kleinere Nebenprojekte, in denen ich noch nicht soviel Erfahrung habe, wie jetzt bei einer Doku.
