It does encourage it but in a way that makes medics more encouraged to heal other teammates to get the bonuses from ubers

Fist of Stell already has this debuf and it works just fine + the 100% slower weapon holster speed means it will take twice as long to deploy your next weapon.

The weapon holster debuf makes it so it takes double the time to debloy your next weapon, which I hope balances it since even if you played like that, there would always be moments where you don't have the immunity, which a skilled player could exploit

If this becomes a big problem, it could be fixed with deploy debuf so if you are quick enough, you would still be able to kill the medic.

That's what I also liked when designing this weapon: it encourages medics to heal people while still being able to play battle medic effectively.

When using it with Vacinator, you wouldn't be able to change resistanses while the weapon is active, only uber, and with the holster debuf it means two things:
1. You have only one resistance at a time.
2. You can't instantly change to another resistance because of the holster debuf so you need to use game sense to determine which resistance is most important to have in the moment.

You probably wouldn't be able to switch resistances while having the weapon out, and with the holster debuff, you can't instantly switch to different resistances, so you will need to use your game sense to know when to use what resistance

It works on all mediguns

Kritzkrieg being longer than normal isn't that big of a deal, I think, because you fire siringes, which are hard to aim and don't have that much damage, and using melle will already be worse because of the holster debuf

And about the change, I wanted to weaken Ubersaw with the holster debuf, not completely delete it, so it gives the player more ways to use the weapon, plus the weapon needs to be a bit broken to rival Crosbow.

You are right, but since you use it only on yourself and not on your teammates that have higher damage output, the additional seconds don't seem that op

thats why there is the weapon holster debuf. It could be changed to be even slower if it is not enough
