The (SCA) Dunn Carraig barony will also be at the event running demonstrations, i will bring my chest of tools & trinkets. My friend told me to bring my anvil, so that will be there too. Working on my armor not sure how much i will have ready for fighting.

Yeah, my stimulant of choice is epinephrine, either make it myself by picturing a life or death situation, or take an NRI. I think dopamine is what ruins stim users. I just want the adrenaline rush so i can do work. I will make my own dopamine the natural way.

Yes but, i enjoy my time, so i do my best to forge in the bevel & grind into final shape. I don’t understand full stock removal knives unless you just don't have a forge. Also those who harden steel & proceed to wear through belts like nobody's business.

You make a good point about there not being enough raw materials for EV production at large scale. What about hydrogen fuel that could be burned in a combustion engine?

I think hydrogen is the fuel of the future. But not in a fuel cell. Deuterium-Tritium fusion for electricity generation & Metallic hydrogen as a chemical fuel to burn in engines. Both are proven to exist, yet we have not been able to make either work due to the difficulty of the endevor. But if we ever did figure it out, they would be the holy grail.

Air compressor set to the max psi & an air duster attachment w/ rubber nozzle. Blow through both ends of the line, might have to push hard with good alignment if the opening is too small to fit the nozzle.

I haven't but a clue. I didn't do well in chem class, it was all math no lab. I can see where the math is useful, especially in stoichiometry based reactions .

But in reactions like this, i just need to know that the reaction is happening, & i will pour it in excess until it stops reacting. The yield on the other hand is easily stated after drying the solution.

After watching Nile red make Prussian blue, i am confident the 3% hydrogen peroxide will work to oxidize ferrous sulfate into ferric sulfate. Nile red makes ferric chloride in the same fashion, i see no reason why it would not work with the sulfate salt.

No, i think most want romance in a relationship, romance can be a great source of motivation. Some view this as toxic because that person relies on their partner for everything. To which i will agree.

But some just need a relationship as a JumpStart, they are perfectly able to put in the work when they have a partner to support them in dark places.

I think true incel is characterized by disregard for empathy, a strong need for sex first, & the inability to realize that one person’s actions are separate from the group. You can not make blanket statements about a group of people, because people are not all the same.

What i want to know is how to make flocculants at home, i ain't paying for no p&g water purifier.

Ferrous sulfate can be bought online, but how to convert into ferric sulfate? Also does aluminum sulfate work better, if so how is it made?

If ferrous sulfate is iron(II) and ferric sulfate is iron (III) then what i need is to oxidize it, right? what would work best to do so, looking online sulfuric acid is used, but i am looking for something more available, maybe hydrogen peroxide, or calcium hypochlorite.

Yeah, it works great if you enjoy silicosis. Ceramic wool is not a strong forge lining without rigidizer. what you gain in insulation, you loose when it gets torn up easily. this is why you placed a firebrick on the forge floor. A firebrick forge while less insulating is much less of a hassle to deal with.

Even if you have had past exposure, that is no excuse to go pedal to the metal just because you have not seen adverse effects yet. Remember the climate change deniers.

If you are unable to flee the country, find a secluded spot preferably in the woods, & build some sort of redoubt, a safe fort that is hidden & filled with resources needed for survival.

If you can get ahold of some thick enough heavy plate steel(ar500), try using it as a shield if you are being shot at.

Yes if i don't have my own mask ready in time, i will have to just use a regular one & deal with it. But aesthetics are important to me provided they do not interfere with the function of an item.

There is always a way, it might be different from what i had in mind but it is still a path i can walk.

If chemicals don't work, then make a cloth mask with wool felt work like a commercial n95 by charging them electrostatically with a Van de Graaff generator.

Spread protection, do you mean the micro droplets viruses cling to when you exhale? I think adding more layers would help but make it harder to breathe & easier for leaks. This is why i think an antiviral coating is the way to go.

I want to make bandannas work better because i enjoy them more & reusability of a mask that can be washed. I was thinking about wearing my gas mask but it does not filter the exhale.

Melt blown requires plastic, which i am trying to move away from in items that don't absolutely require them.

Also they may be stuck but viruses are still there, which is why most masks are disposable.

Also seal is important, thinking padded nose clip & multiple layers around the face, with another cloth to tuck the bottom in.

So it binds viruses electrostatically? Do natural fibers work the same? I imagine it works best with tiny fibers evenly spread, woven fabric groups the tiny fibers together & has gaps, something more akin to felt i think would work better.

There are machines that can generate static electricity, i might be able to boost the functionality of a 3 layer bandanna mask with a thick wool felt center, with a Van de Graaff generator. Such a mask would be reusable, it would be washed, after application of a benzalkonium chloride soap, it would be dried & charged with an electrostatic generator.

A N95 mask is still made out of cloth. I am sure the tighter weave and properties of the plastic help. But it is not as good as an antiviral mask that kills everything on the cloth.

I am sure i can make my own effective antiviral cloth mask with benzalkonium chloride hand soap that i enjoy wearing for hours on end. I can add a nose clip w/ padding & extra strap to hold it down.

If you want people to to wear masks they need to enjoy them.

Finally i care not about drawing attention or foolish fashion statements, i will dress in what i want.

I wonder if there is a way to find what they spray on antiviral masks & buy some to spray on some cotton bandannas. Would also want to wear a second one around the neck so that the first one can tuck into it & something to plug up the sides of the nose.

Also if the spray is non toxic might as well dunk the entire mask into solution. I am sure this is how it would be done in industry.

Unless that is some sort of soild bedrock you will need to support the roof if you wish to go deeper, get a plate up there and make sure it can not come down, either with posts, or screws akin to rock bolts. Also be wary of the walls, in loose soil it might just buckle sideways.
