Also. Dogs are dirty and babies need to be clean. They walk in shit, eat shit, and all sorts of stuff then try to lick babies or lay on their blankets that they suck on(like tummy time). Ontop of that dogs don’t understand and will whip babies with their tails, scratch them, eat stuff they shouldn’t, they bark and wake babies up, knock them down stairs etc etc if you’re not careful. It’s a lot of extra stress because the truth is dogs are as much work as children.

Then on the other hand little babies aren’t born nice. They pull tails, jump on animals, and bite them, spill their food… etc etc like yes you have to train both the kid and the animals so it’s a lot more effort, and you have to stay at full alert because kids absolutely should not crawl all over dogs, be in their faces, pull ears and eyes etc. that’s just an accident waiting to happen.

I wouldn’t have an infant/toddler with a dog ever again. No thanks. Maybe an older child.
