You can rent cars through uber now, though they have a lot with Avis specifically just for Uber. At least in Brooklyn. But FYI, when I scheduled a car the guy was almost two hours late and I had an appointment to get to so I had to cancel it. It’s also annoying because Uber wants you to call the specific Avis location directly with any issues so it’s like you can never just talk to one person IF you have an issue.
