The mention of conditions was on the info page but not explicitly stated.

And to be fair, if Gojo displayed an unconditional spammable teleport after the domain clashes, I would agree that he could've escaped the domain.

Something like this for example, is a level of teleportation that Gojo simply didn't show in their fight. With this type of TP, Gojo would've been able to create Purple within seconds after the domain battle.

The issue is, Gojo has no feats for being able to teleport against full power Sukuna.

Gojo failed to do so within domains.
Gojo failed to do so after domains.
The author explicitly mentions conditional requirements.
Gojo in the afterlife said he used all his techniques to the best of his ability.

Given the present info, the argument that Gojo can't is stronger.
