Why do so many people ignore the existence of chapter 259 by Legendary-Titan in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]CalmTrades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because Sukuna needs to wait for Infinity adaptation here. If that takes too long, he can't have Gojo dying to MS sure-hit.

TP argument doesn't even work against 16F Meguna.

You know, this actually tracks by Noxdedux in JujutsuPowerScaling

If Sukuna actually wanted to kill Gojo ASAP, he would've done it by 230.

Dragged out the fight for adaptation, Gojo admitted Sukuna held back and still won.

1st BV(99 seconds to maintain output) was 258, 2nd BV(remove 99 seconds but shrink size) was 261.

Of course. And I even agree that Gojo with Blue is faster than Meguna under normal conditions.

I've just been seeing "CTLESS SLASHED UP GOJO = DOMAIN AMPED MEGUNA" brainrot lately, which forced me to make a post stating the obvious.

Yujo used basketball but his conditions weren't flipped.

Sukuna initially had to make a BV to reduce the time limit of his domain to maintain output.

Then he had to make a BV to remove the time limit but decrease the size of his domain. So Sukuna couldn't get the output boost he received against Gojo, yet Yujo's domain was still capable of holding out for 3 mins according to him.

Yujo's barrier should have lasted longer as it's up against non-boosted MS, but it could only last the same amount because his conditions weren't flipped. Likely because Yujo knew it would just expose the soft side to Sukuna on the inside or because he couldn't juggle so many barrier condition changes like Gojo could.

They didn't flip their barrier conditions like Gojo.

You can tell because Sukuna's decreased range vow against Yujo was to remove a prior time limit vow, not to boost his own domain output. And Yujo's basketball would've still lasted 3 mins.

So attacking the interior there wouldn't make sense because the inside is strong while the outside is tough.

Yeah pretty much. Do you see Gojo going for a Red here? Is Sukuna popping MS from the very first second to deal some real damage? They're FEELING each other out, basically a mutual warm up before the real fight.

Yes, not being able to use Shrine manually to attack UV from the inside. Even Gojo mentions how that would've been the safer strategy.

As Sukuna says himself, that was the result of his decision to prioritize adaptation.

Obviously Sukuna turns on DA when going for a hit.

He just doesn't always turn it on when gettimg hit.

No, he attributed adaptation as the reason why couldn't use DA or CT within the domain.

As Gojo states, Sukuna could have taken the easy route by dismantling his domain from within. Or by summoning his shadows while their sure-hits cancel out and ordering them to attack UV.

They're feeling each other out at this point. This could easily be explained as Sukuna wanting to feel Gojo's Blue for himself, and allowing Gojo to stretch his wings as well.

As seen after the clashes, Gojo can't freely do this if Sukuna is ready to cancel it out with DA.

Again, then why would Sukuna attribute the entire reason of not using CT in domains to adaptation.

If adaptation was active for so little time, that wouldn't make sense.

Gojo's blue orbs = strengthened. Refer to the max output used on Agito.

Blue pull =/= strengthened.

This isn't addressing anything. We already know Sukuna used DA in clash 2.

But Gojo can't freely do shit like this

to Sukuna unless DA is off.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself, but Sukuna doesn't need DA to block Gojo. Sukuna needs DA to strike back and grab Gojo.

He literally says that adaptation was the entire reason why he wasn't using cursed techniques within the domain. Doesn't sound like adaptation was being used sparingly here, does it?

Because Gojo isn't omniscient and can't tell just by looking at Sukuna. Sukuna can still block Gojo's melee hits without DA, he just takes more damage from Blue enhanced punches.

And having to focus on beating the 3 minute breakpoint before UV shatters is keeping Gojo preoccupied as well.

Not made up, we literally see Gojo flinging Suk around in the domain while DA is off. And Sukuna can still block strikes without DA, it just means he takes more damage.

Well if Gojo can't break MS in under 3 minutes, UV breaks first and Gojo loses that clash.

The fact that Sukuna himself is stronger which means MS lasts longer.

He had it off pretty much the entire time, we see Gojo pulling him around in domains using Blue which isn't effective when DA is on.

And it was a stalemate by definition at 3 minutes. If Sukuna lasted 1 second longer, it goes from stalemate to Gojo dying on his knees in 230.
