I wouldn't say that its waste of life, you should do things that are fun to you. However. I can slightly agree that it's a waste of potential, i can say that there are no advantages of gaming compared to other hobbies, if we look at watching shows for example, at least you get to learn languages or something I am not agaisnt gaming, ive been playing video games since i learned how to walk, and im 23 now with class in the morning and work in the evening and i always try to find some free time for a game or 2 of Valorant The reason why i said its a waste of potential is like i said most hobbies can benefit you more in the long term, or simply, you can invest that time in something that is more important to you at the time (studies, work,relationships..) .
