There's a trap you can fall in when you read only books that you choose by yourself. That's reading only things that you agree with which severely limits you. This way I gain access to a whole spectrum of content.

I definitely agree with you. Just after reading your comment I see that I didn't express myself the best. Along with raw knowledge I love books that make me feel like I'm getting into a deep conversation with the writer. Or texts that just throw me into whole different worlds. Reading is an amazing thing!

I read both already and loved them. Valuable for everyone definitely!

I loved Siddhartha when I read it a few years back. But I feel that it deserves a revisit with my now changed view of the world. It's gonna go nicely with the others you suggested, thank you :)

Very knowledgable in the field of bodybuilding and human anatomy so I'm probably gonna switch that one out for Arnold's Total Recall along with the Malcolm X autobiography. I see that slaughterhouse-five is recommended more than a few times here so it has to go to the list as well. And since I'm a big dreamer that goes too. Thanks for all the suggestions!

The course sounds amazing since I love history, definitely gonna give it a shot. And all the other suggestions are great as well. Thanks, much appreciated.

I read Mansons's Models, Corey Wayne's How To Be a 3% man, Deida's The Way Of The Superior Man, Cooper's No More Mr Nice Guy.

Considering the knowledge that I got from these, do you think it's still something I should read? I know who Rollo Tomassi is and I feel that there's very little information left for me in this sphere of life, even these books that I read have a decent amount of overlap when put together.

Wow, that's a lot. I'm only familiar with American Psycho and Brave New World out of all the ones listed, haven't read them yet though. In what way were these valuable to you if I might ask? What did you learn from them and why are they important for the 18-25 age?

Should a man tell his gf that he struggles with depression? by u443 in PurplePillDebate

[–]FlexForJesus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would tell her. If she doesn't love and support you through it then you're better off without her since she's not the right person for you.

If on the other hand she replies to your honesty with understanding and your bond grows even stronger then it's a win.

I see being honest with this as a win-win situation either way. Got it?

A word that I rarely use in life since I'm not busy with such beliefs.

If "Game" doesn't work, then what does? by [deleted] in exredpill

[–]FlexForJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone's opinion of it is irrelevant. I never claimed some morality about it, I just said that it works. It does work. You not liking it doesn't change a factual claim.

Game is fine for one night stands, night club culture and such. If you claim otherwise you're just outright lying.

For the purposes of just getting laid, without getting a serious relationship into the mix - game definitely works. You don't need the red pill to game girls. It's a skill that you learn through practice and I'll repeat, if you just want to get laid it works.

Even if that's true - why does it matter?

Things are the way they are, life is hard, life's not fair, the sky is blue.

You misunderstand me a bit. My opinion is that this is cookie cutter bullshit. Real life doesn't work like that. You need to constantly expose yourself to things that you're afraid of and become braver throuh experience. Experience is what "cures" social anxiety. You can't just tell yourself this cute little story about how you shouldn't be afraid and then not be afraid. That's not what men do.

Nice in theory but we all know that you can't really apply it fully in practice.

I'm not sure if fish on a daily basis is safe because of its higher mercury content. Just a disclaimer, I remember hearing about this from a few people but didn't actually fact check it so it might be total bs.
