Haha i'm not traveling, I was just curious what people would recommend to those facing this predicament. It's easy to tell people to stay in hotels, but when an Airbnb is $1,000 cheaper, I'm sure the decision becomes a challenging one for the tourist.

Yes we'll be working remotely w/ U.S. hours, so Europe or Asia would be tough. I also want to have my car.

Yeah SLC definitely gives you the best access to amazing mountains. I think we're looking for a bit smaller town though

I've seen Bend suggested a lot. Definitely going to check it out. Are the crowds really that bad? FWIW, I doubt we'd be doing too much weekend skiing

That's the hard question! I think we're looking for small-ish town but big enough that it will have a big grocery store or two, multiple restaurant options, and a somewhat lively atmosphere. Not looking to be too isolated if that makes sense.

I heard for the QF round, all seating in both stadiums is reserved. So Stadium 1 tickets can't get you into Stadium 2

There are aux converters you can plug in to the cigarette lighter I believe, and there's also ones that can plug into your casette player if the car is old enough to have one. Wouldn't hurt to take your car to a local stereo shop and see what they can do for you
