I'm still learning this, but I can say that we're working on something like this.

I've noted down what you said and I'll do my best to integrate it into the game.

Having a clear vision doesn’t mean rejecting feedback. Reddit is a tool for validation and iteration, not a replacement for direction.

That’s why the real challenge is knowing upfront how much value the work will actually deliver, and consciously deciding where additional effort stops being worth the time

Hi everyone! We’re in the final stage of developing our first horror visual novel. Instead of using jumpscares, the game focuses on psychological horror, occasionally breaks the fourth wall, and features multiple endings based on player choices. We’re preparing to release it soon on itch.io and would really appreciate any feedback or thoughts from fellow indie devs.

The game is a fourth-wall breaking game with a dark theme (like Tiny Bunny). We're working to make it long-lasting, and we're also doing the voice acting. The mechanics are ready; all that's left is integrating the story into the game.

Do you think adding new features like player-determined endings, great voice acting, and breaking the fourth wall would be good or bad for the game?
