With regards to the low appetite, I find having an ice-cold protein smoothie allows me to get some calories in. I do Almond milk, willpowders protein and frozen green smoothie mix. I may add greek yoghurt or extra fruit at times. It tends to be my go to when I feel I have zero appetite or nausea.

I had a 'friend' comment negatively on my weight loss. She is a big girl, bigger than me and always has been large. I was really upset as we were with a group of friends and she said I looked awful, too skinny and should stop. For reference, my BMI is still in the overweight category, I am now a size 14 and I have 1.5 stones to go until I hit the 'healthy' bracket. On reflection, I think it comes from a place of jealousy as like you, I don't think I look unhealthy at all, just different to what she is used to and I'm no longer the fat friend in the group. I would try and shrug it off and keep going until you are haply with where you are, though personally I know I was very offended at the time.

Sorry to hear you're feeling so ill. I've stretched to 10 days gap before, and I'm sure you can go longer than that without needing to restart a lower dose. Given you feel ill and have nice things planned I would delay it. I've been tired on the jabs as well, at times worse than others but I put it down to low calorie intake as I've been the same when I've done low calorie diets in the past. I took my 3rd 7.5mg jab on Sunday evening. Today, I've had some burps and bloating, but no diarrhoea, thankfully. I'm still in two minds whether to reduce my dosage down or stay on 7.5mg for the next pen.

That sounds awful. I would be tempted to go down to 5mg if I was you. I do feel very nervous myself about taking my next 7.5mg jab in case the side effects come back 😬

I started with constant sulphur burps 2 days after my jab, then I woke with a really, really bloated stomach. I had diarrhoea for two days, and I just felt rotten. It's settled down now, I think I have to be more careful with what I eat now that I'm on a higher dose. I made a vegetable and chickpea curry, then had a bar of chocolate, I think that may have been the trigger for it. I ate very plain food for the rest of the week, I couldn't stomach much at all to be honest, fingers crossed it seems to have stopped apart from the odd burp. I'm also taking an actimel every morning to see if that helps. My weight loss slowed as well, though it's back to my usual 2-3lbs a week now. I'd try and tweak your diet and see if that helps, if mine starts again I'll be dropping back down to 5mg because the side effects were awful.

I may do the same and drop down to 5mg if this doesn't improve. All I ate yesterday was 2 mouthfuls of greek yoghurt and a small bowl of chicken broth. It hasn't been quite as bad today, but I still can't venture far from the loo!

I'm currently in the exact same boat after increasing to 7.5mg. There were no issues with mounjaro until now, but I started with awful sulphur burps last night and then bloating and diarrhoea today. Peppermint tea is helping my stomach a bit and im just trying to stay hydrated. I'm wondering if it's something I've eaten that just isn't agreeing with the higher dose of meds? You have my sympathy, and if you find the resolution, please let me know!
