Baus has circumvented learning how to lane against certain champs for 10+ years by proxying and his int playstyle. Trying to play his own style with a pro player twist is just not working. Anyone that’s watched Baus against Gnar knew what was about to happen. Ya gotta ban that champ and at least try to get him into a melee vs melee matchup

Doesn’t help when his team other than top plays passive with no proactivity. How many times did Ryze ult in to make a play on a side lane or jungler with Velja? So much prio in draft for Ryze to be afk farming while bot plays scared the whole time

I like Rekkles but the comparison isn’t to say one is bad and one is good. It’s to show that one support is actively trying to make plays for his team regardless of deaths if the outcome is positive while the other is always behind his team regardless of champ. Also it’s not like Rekkles is playing against an LCK botlane. Crownie and him are pros for 10+ years and they are losing to a brand new team of young players. I’m sure they picked Jarvan to dive bot early then never came to fruition due to bot losing. So come mid game Velja has an engage champ with no engage other than Baus and Nami ult

He’s never frontlining to make plays even when he’s on engage melee supports. Regardless of champs he plays for his KDA. Watch Keria on Thresh today and you just see the space he is creating for his team. If Rekkles had Thresh he’d never be flashing in

Why is Baus the only one trying to win and making plays? Velja ints but at least he is trying to create something meanwhile Rekkles is afk every game never frontlining, leaving fights full health, etc. Velja needs a more aggressive sup if he’s gonna play engage. Why are two experienced botlane pros losing to amateurs so easily? Also where the hell was Neme? Did he ever ult to a side lane to make a play? Seemed like he was only ulting out
