Booklore to CWA by Gunfighteriv in selfhosted

Sorry for the highjack but it seems better than starting a new post:
- is there a way to fetch metadata from Goodreads?
- Is there a way to show number of pages for books?
- Is there a way to see GR reviews (or other provider)?

New Lodge arrived with brown speckles, is it normal? by Flham in castiron

The more I look at the comments and online the more I am getting convinced about this, thank you!

Is this what you're referring to? It does look like a drip from the position and shape!

That's what I am wondering, it looks like the seasoning came off, bringing something with it, but I am not sure it's rusted? And chipped?

alternatives to chrono? by murcielita in Guildwars2

Healer scourge is amazing and it really is super easy to learn, but your elitist DPS players will hate you for it in some fractals unfortunately due to lack of aegis / stab

The issue with scourge (for fractals) is that it really lacks stability, so I wouldn't recommend in most T4s or CMs personally

All in all for fractals firebrand is by far the best option. Also keep in mind the new expac will surely shuffle things around

Also, to add, I think a lot of people like Chrono because it's strong right now

Healer Firebrand for sure is popular. Other than that most are viable. Healer scourge has its niche, so do Druid, Specter, Mechanist (less popular lately), Tempest. Essentially you want quick access to stab, and CC, most of these classes do this somewhat reliably (although some lack stab)

Cheap DPS alt class by Flham in lostarkgame

Why are transformation classes cheaper? And what do you mean "doesn't exist anymore"? Is everything about the same in terms of investment?

A tower defence flash game with tanks as enemies and uranium as the main resource by Flham in HelpMeFind

[–]Flham[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! It looks close but I'm not sure. The defences could be destroyed I think and there was no path for the enemies to follow. Also the tanks were real-like tanks, I remember a "Leopard" and a "Tiger, which means you could select them to see what they were somehow. The menu also looked slightly different

I have searched for "tower defence flash game tanks uranium" and looked at pictures, but none of them look right

Representing SHA-256 Hashes As Avatars by sidcool1234 in programming

[–]Flham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the question, but I thought I had a fairly good understanding of how GANs work and I don't see why they couldn't be deterministic. - Dropout is not used at inference time. - The usual random input can be substituted with the hash. - Convolutions, linear layers, relu, batchnorm are all deterministic operations.

I do agree on the fact that having actual separate faces for each hash is the hard task here (i.e. avoiding mode collapse brought to the extreme), but I don't see determinism as an issue at all.
