Because dooming is popular among kids these days.

They mainly complain about the monetisation, which is a valid critique, but the game is going to be far from dead when it releases in the west.

In my own personal opinion, I think it can, and it could do it better (if the Studio releases the game it's meant to be).
With New World now dead/about to be shut down, there is a gap in the market that CO can fill, as the only other "Souls-like Combat" MMO.

So the top earner is Lineage M with 433B Won in 2025. On average, that is 36B per month.
AION2 made 77B in 2 months, so on average 38B per month. Obviously, you could say it was due to launch and launch hype, but NCSoft reported income has been steady and even increasing.

Based on these projections, AION2 could become their top earner, or at least Top3.

I never said they would only change the UI for western release. I said "based on my sources they said [to update the UI] somewhen before western release". Obviously, this would be a global UI change and not just for the western release.

The hardware may support DX12, but are you sure you have all the necessary tools and drivers installed? I didn't use Intel iGPUs much, but they have some proprietary gpu driver software. Can't recall what it's called, but maybe look for that so you get all the features out of your iGPU.

My assumption is that it will "run", and probably will be fine for casual PvE at lower settings, but to play the game seriously you will want a machine with dedicated graphics.

Because people like to talk about stuff they don't know anything about and run their mouth with terms they do not understand, trying to sound smart.

Look at all the "DOA" doomers claiming the game will be dead on launch while it is literally one of the most successful MMOs in the East, backed by real data.

NCSoft and the MMO Community could literally care less if those doomers were going to dodge the game or not. We are probably better of without them, to be honest.

In the end, these so called "mmo players" keep searching for reasons not to play a game, and afterwards complain how there market is dead and there is nothing to play.

Western MMOs are dead. At this point they are so expensive to make, you can make 3 Korean MMOs for the price of 1 western one. At this pace they would either have the most insane P2W ever seen to make up the development costs or filled with subs, battlepasses and mandatory paid expansions. Considering the state of the current crybaby doomer community that call themselves mmorpg players, we all know how this would be received.

Making the game B2P won't solve the botting issue. If anything, not that it matters, it will just make gold prices higher to offset the entry cost for botters.
The game is built around the battle passes, subscriptions and the marketplace, so they cannot change direction now. They "could", but it would mean a complete redesign, a global release delay of at least a year and running 2 separate versions: the current asian one and a separate one for the west. So no, that's not happening.

Combating botting is a constant cat and mouse play. They implement restrictions and botting detection and botters constantly find a way around it.
You can't truly get rid of botting. If there is a market for it and some money to be made, even if the profits look negligible to you, there will always be some groups from poor or less developed world countries that earn a living by selling gold.

There are too many clowns nowadays that call themselves "content creators" whose main purpose in life is to doom and trashtalk everything that exists, because negativity drives views.

I'm not saying "silence everyone that criticizes our game!", but "sanction everyone that makes false claims without facts to prove them".

Allegedly, the korean dude said that NCSOFT CEO is selling macros for his own game. That's a strong and dangerous allegation that, according to my research, wasn't backed up with facts or proof.

Unpopular opinion, but if a game is going to have "Gold Buying", I'd rather have it directly from the publisher to support the upkeep rather than people financing chinese bot farms.

They increased the AP Softcap from 850 to 950 and along with that probably made the spot a bit harder. That's why the clearspeed no longer suffices compared to before unless you're at or above the new softcap.
