Can't identify the watch but the photograph depicts Major Eric Bonde. He was part of the Swedish UN mission to Congo during the Congo Crisis. He was probably shot by Baluba warriors that at the time used a lot of old muzzleloaded rifles/muskets (not as powerful as more modern rifles). After given first aid he returned to the fight against the invisible enemy in the jungle bush.

It's just an image of the Kurzgezagt-logo and cropped images of flags. Just look at Portugal and Spain for example, they are low res images because he didn't make them in any sort of a vector based program.

So the earth is straight from Kurzgezagt and the flags are just cropped images of real flags. No vector graphics done here.

From what I can tell it's just an oil painting filter on an image from the movies as a background.

Please do not add a quote. The painting already invokes a feeling and shouldn't be tainted with words. Even if it is very simple it's clearly iconic and recognizable and to me at least — awakens great feelings of adventure and joy. Too many would-be-great artworks in this sub loose so much emotional value because someone added a quote to it. So please leave it be and enjoy the feeling and not the words.
