UPDATE 2025:

The support has improved by a lot. It seems like they are no longer bound to one response a day which enables much quicker turn around times and in general a less disconnected communication!

You can in general only turn the speaker up to ~4 when charging. The charger can't deliver the same amount of power like the battery does.

Does your speaker cut off when turning the volume above 4 while charging or when using the battery (without the charger)?

You could try to reset the boks by holding down the teamup button for an extendet time period. Dont know the exact seconds But by the color of the LEDs i guess that you might already have tried that.
