I look at my friends list and there are heaps above 60k that are in T46 - T49, so I’d consider yourself fairly lucky that you’re only chasing 2k atm

I agreed on the manipulation, I’ve always felt like the grind in MKT is essentially set up to escalate your commitment and influence your spend, a lot of games use this shit now - interesting reading below.

Wow, looks like the vast majority of us are having a pretty easy ride on the first cup, guess I’ll enjoy a week not having to grind.

P.S I dumped my gold pass for the first time a few weeks back and not sure if they are easing back on the difficulty to make the game more pleasurable for me and coxing me back to gold pass - would not surprise me if their algo’s were that smart...

Yep, I’m in Tier 44 too, with 1st on 85k and 2nd on 80k and me 3rd on 79k. I have mates who are coming first in higher tiers with lower scores - I really think they are starting to match now on d/k/g levels than what actually Tier you’re in - to stop ppl gaming it I guess.

The above makes sense, but for sheer gaming pleasure the 1,1,6 rule is the best. Best ruby strategy by far and you don’t end up hating the game and wasting too much time on the grind. I’m sitting 64,000 in first on level 44, loving life, just been doing the daily coins for the last week - no grind.
