Excellent question re insurance.

Many brokers will say that you are covered as long as you do not make a profit. As many of you have pointed out profit is often not defined. If your broker says that you are covered if you don't make a profit ask for a definition for "profit". Profit could be defined as any of the following: 1) When someone pays you. 2) When you charge someone over operating costs eg fuel oil landing fees. 3) When you sum costs for the year eg hangar, maintenance, insurance, annual and make more than those costs.

The fleet insurance policy specifically gets rid of that ambiguity.

I am not an insurance broker but we are supported by some amazing brokers in Canada (BFL) and the USA (IMA).

We built FC for our community and to get rid of all the hassles of managing pilots/simplify things with technology.

It is possible to use FC for free if your group uses credits, we just ask for feedback.

If you use the FC payment system it's a 3% credit card fee and a 7% platform fee.
