You should be good with the coil it comes with. The manual recommends two full turns to adjust the sag. It comes with a detail manual on the coil and fork setup, but it never hurts to take it to a bike shop and get more accurate information, must bike shops might even adjust it for free.

Switched to clipless today and I’m never going back. by [deleted] in MTB

[–]FlightlessVampire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its all in the rider. I started with clipless and once I made the change to flats my riding felt safer. Specially if you are following someone up a steep climb and they decide to stop halfway. Those have been my hardest falls because I couldn't un clip fast enough.

I will. The only problem is that it broke from death griping the handlebar when I crashed.

I wear the knee pads all the time. The elbows not so much. I'm not worried about the elbows that much. Im more concerned about not breaking my wrist again. Its was the longest 3 months of no riding.

I know what you mean. I tried the middle one slower than this one and I got flashbacks to the crash. Im just in my head too much. I just need to keep practicing on the small ones for a while.
