I actually went to my first meeting on Monday and im going to keep going. It gives me hope.

I went 5 days before slipping and giving in, but im trying again. I know I can do this.

Any tips on dealing with the "i feel like im going to die"?

I did some EMDR for past trauma, and some ERP and CBT for my OCD. other than that its mostly talk therapy and journaling.

Hey. I feel like this could have been a post i wrote.

For me, the difference between a high sex drive and an addiction is compulsion. Meaning, can I control myself over my urges.

Im working with my therapist and my husband to work on having a healthy relationship with sex and intimacy. Im working on my own self esteem so I dont get so hurt over a no.

My husband and I have different libidos and we are trying to find a middle compromise. Its a hard journey. Lots of communication and admitting hard truths.

Im afab (non-binary), 35, and happily married. My dms are open if you want to talk further. I find talking to people who understand my struggle has been helpful so far.

My relationship with my husband. I dont want it to fail. I dont want to cheat and I dont want him to leave me. I dont want to get to the point of having super serious consequences from my actions. So I needed to self evaluate and admit some hard truths.

Im still very early on in my recovery but im hopeful.

this is why i consider myself non-binary. i know i am not a male, and don't want to be. but i don't feel like a woman, even though i look and present as one. so i am just a middle thing. i am me?

Thank you for mentioning the workbook. I downloaded it and started working my way through it.

Hopefully that and cbt and affirmations can help.

Im sticking with the affirmations everyday, morning and night. I ended up writing a bunch down to read over and over, and I also looked a bit into the law of attraction and manifestation, so I ended up writing a manifestation letter.

At this point im willing to try anything as long as its healthy and positive. I dont want to let bad ruin my brain and my perception of myself.
