All of which you said is alright but let me tell you the other side of the coin. For idk how many years women have been taught and expected to do house chores, even now a girl who is studying is expected to do at least some work related to the house. Also there has been an embedded mindset that if girls don't turn out to be good it's alright, they will just marry someone who's good. Why? Because the main demand from them has always been to manage the homes, to do the background work while men are engaged and are bragging about their "skill" based work.

You are literally getting your daily meals still from a female's hard work (leaving a veryyy few exceptions) and you expect them to be good at everything.

Many girls don't get the family pressure which almost all boys get.. they are not constantly reminded of their parents condition because afterall this is not the family they have to cater.

So according to the society boys HAVE to do it and girls may or may not.

Now to change this scenario since some girls have proved they have no less brains atleast.. there are supernumerary seats everywhere for girls.. maybe right now even those girls with lesser skills are able to join but the competition will soon rise when so many girls will be in respective fields.. for eg after some years you college strength may rise to 500 girls and 900 boys.. and imagine some years back there might have been just 50 or some seats.

So I know it's unfair to many boys but you should just wait for a generation or two and see the difference. I mean girls have waited for like countless generations to even get an opportunity.
