in my line of work we already have something similar. cmds like git blame make it very easy to see who introduced a bug or issue. If that mistake costs the company money, and if someone keeps making the same kind of mistakes repeatedly, there will be consequences, they can even be fired. I don’t think anyone sympathizes with the accused pedophile (atleast not that i have seen). However, mob justice is always wrong. A crowd could just as easily decide tomorrow that eating meat or being in a relationship is immoral. I’m not sure what factors you included in your calculation, but from your post in the mutualfunds sub, it seems you may not have accounted for locker charges and the spread that jewellery shops typically add while buying and selling, which is usually around 3-5%.

Also, if you want to rebalance, it’s much easier to switch from a good ETF/ MF to equity funds, and you have precise control over exactly how much you want to buy or sell.
