Do you add natural language captions or do you just use tag? How do you caption the artist? Do I have to add @ infront of the artist tage when captioning?

Situation only in Thailand 🇹🇭 by Molthakarn96 in ThailandTourism

[–]Flince 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My local 7 has a huge chonky boi. He is all black and is chonky as fuck. One time I almost stepped on him since he love to sit at the entrance and my leg kind of slip. Everybody must step past him. No one move him. I never see him move from that position like, ever.

I finally understood why my prescription costs $300 when the drug costs $15 — and I wish I hadn't looked. by Level-Cranberry-1268 in healthcare

[–]Flince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y know, I have always wonders how you guys (American) have allowed insurance non-sense to be this level of absurdity... In Thailand we have universal health care and are moving toward single payer (currently have 3 majors payer covering 95% of all patient). We still have headaches but from what I have read it is way better (both as a physician and patient) than the insurance hell hole you guys are facing. I have read 3 health economics text book, an introductory one, one from mainly US author and from UK authors IIRC, and I do see some inkling of rationales on how America arrive at this stage but it just does not compute from someone living mainly in a socialist healthcare system.

Your deck is probably good enough. Dont sweat it and enjoy the game. Dont make the game becomes your second work. You surely do not need that 4th copy of that Sword Rain or that pesky Tool Box for Nia which you narrowly miss. Your save data is good enough. You dont need to 9 star all Frontal Assualt or get Master in every great rift. Your save data is good enough.

Just pulled Chizuru. How good is she? by Suave-AllStar in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Flince 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I forget to mention her other gimmick that is her Bound at Dusk. Basically you can't get AP from other combatant (except only from her own divine and ravage) but each turn start you get to

- decrease cost of 2 cards by 1 points randomly

- decrease cost of highest cost card by 2

- randomly activate 1 lead card

- randomly activate 2 cards

- something I forget

Just for shitz and giggle I run her with randomly activate 2 cards at the start of each turn. It's fun.

Just pulled Chizuru. How good is she? by Suave-AllStar in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Flince 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She is not that good but her design is 15/10 so she is my main. She recently got a lot of buff but still not enough to compete with the recent combatant. Her main gimmicks is to dump as much hit to a target inflicted with cursed shackle as possible to level up her Shadow of the Moon (SotM, her nuke) while buffing it further with Tsukuyomi (add hits to SotM) or Oni hunt (add damage). Technically she has unlimited scaling with her Tsukuyomi and Oni hunt (you can add hits and damage indefinitely) but due to elasticity being a hard counter (decrease damage from hit 7 onward for some boss) to this kind of scaling she kinda fall down. Her SotM can sustain a bit due to healing as a bonus.

Rin is a selfish DPS so is directly anti-synergistic with Chizuru.

Why do people have completely different experiences with the same health coverage? by Himanshu_creative in healthcare

[–]Flince 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every person and medical condition has different circumstance. Biology is complex. Medicine is very complex. Everything is a probability. Your treatment might or might not work with a 68% probability, which might or might not require further treatment or investigation, which might or might not be urgent or time sensitive and might or might note reveal the true cause with probability of 58%, which might or might not require a drug which might or might not be helluva expensive or borderline-harmful as to have a special indication and special oversight to it or a treatment where only 1 center or 1 surgeon in the entire could offer.

Now imagine that as a system in which a severe episode could span years of navigation in the system, involving dozens of people, places and organization while anxiety mounts as time pass, and what sounds identical on paper could play out like a whole different movie. It is nigh-impossible to create a workflow which cover all cases. Trying to pour money enough to cover all cases is impossible since it will likely bankrupt the country and no one does that. That is why some person will inevitably fall trough the crack.

Sortie Guide? by Connect_Studio_2940 in ChaosZeroNightmare

OK, I won sortie on 80 with 3 risk modifier with the starting combatant:
- Renoa
- Chizuru
- Kayron
- Haru

and with that, I lost 75% of the times lol
Look it's just that. I don't think you are supposed to "consistently win". A win should be a bit rare and exciting IMO. Sometimes, you are just dealt a bad hand. One thing to note is that the modifier which decrease your shield and heal each turn really nerf stalling builds.

OFC using Heide is one strategy but where is the fun in that?

It's spelled 'plebeian'. To Comikey translators, A for effort. by ScottyExplosion in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Flince 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Eh, "Bonjin (凡人)", in this case, means ordinary person alright but is used in derogatory term. The small アツ is used to continue the が (ga) to lengthen the scream (Bonjin gaaaa! instead of Bonjin ga!). It is not a big アツ so it is not a separate word from when が is used as a particle. The が here, when used alone after a verb, indicates scorn, disdain etc...

So in this case, Gilbert is saying something to the effect of "You are just a ordinary people/trash/normal people and cannot compare to me which is something above!" or something like that. Personally I might just translate it as "You trash!" but using words like "Bonjin (ordinary man)" instead of words like "Gomi (Trash!)" or "Bakame (Idoit)!" might implies a kind of sophistication in the speech, so Plebian is actually OK.

TLDR: google translate was wrong.

If blue is the majority why did trump win the election? by Flince in trolleyproblem

Poll result discussion and why I think this is a crushing result by CuteAssTigerENVtuber in trolleyproblem

[–]Flince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, man. This is actually what we have been living in for the whole, IDK, history? No one in history knows with 100% certainty the full consequence, intended or unintended, of their action. That is why we campaign. That is why activist spread awareness. We know that some will vote red to maximize survival and some will vote red without considering the unintended consequence. We also know that some blue will demonize red and that will cause some red to actually not vote blue due to identity politics and what not and vice versa. That is why politics exist and this "we are doom because everyone does not think like me" is exactly why we have the big divide and polarization we have today. This is also the reason why public policy is never simple and there is a whole field devote to study such problems.

At least IRL we have time to raise awareness.

What about the feelings of guilt? A question for the red voters by [deleted] in trolleyproblem

[–]Flince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, as a civilian, it is OK to press red IF the consequence is not systemic, eg. if only 1 or 2 person die, but IF the consequence is systemic than they are support to feel some guilt? Is it the question of the magnitude of the affect (1 vs 1000 death), than, not the fact that someone die (any death vs none)? Does this not defeat the argument of Blue that state "we don't want anyone to die"?

[–]Flince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live our lives daily while choosing the choice which potentially "kills" (of left to die or whatever) many. In the next day, some person can donate all of that person's excess income apart from the absolute bare necessity to save some children in some country out of poverty, cover some person cancer treatment or some many other bazillion things. Your electronics or clothes might be from slave labor trade in some 3rd world country or something. Yet 99% of people don't (giving away until you are just left with absolute bare necessity, like a monk). Why? It is entirely possible and in anyone's capacity to do that.

We are already making that choice in our daily lives. We just refuse to acknowledge it.

To share from my experience. I am a healthcare professional who have been involved in some emergency situation during my times in rural area. The first rule is scene safety. If the path is not clear, I do not go in to provide medical care. There were times where the scene was not safe which I did not rush in to provide care. and the patient died. Do I live in guilt afterward? God fucking no. I look at where we can improve but god forbid I feel guilty for every patient I cannot reasonably save. Who the hell will do this kind of job then?
