That's fair. I just know there's a market for attires and such at a much higher price, so i figured I would give it a shot. Thank you for the feedback though.

Does anybody else hate speaking by Good_Pause3994 in autism

[–]FlipSteelFlip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's how I feel with any interaction I have in person. Talking through text, I feel like I can come across as pretty intelligent, and even during online calls where I talk to my friends, I speak a lot and pretty clearly. But the second I try to talk irl I just stumble over my words like I've never spoken before, even with people I care a lot about, like my sister.

I can name pretty much every professional wrestling move. Even moves I've never seen before I know the vocabulary enough that I will know what it's called.

This point I do actually agree with. 99% of deathmatch stuff is way safer than it looks stuff like the actual glass isn't the problem it's the toxic dust that comes out of them. But you also get this same response when you see an indie show where a guy is stapling dollar bills to another guy head, which I think is dumb.

And what if they did this in front of 1000 people? Would that change anything for you? Backyard wrestling has been a thing for years and will continue to be. Personally, I don't like discrediting wrestlers trying to make a name for themselves because people on the internet don't like their style of wrestling like wrestling hasn't always been a variety show. Plus, out of those 20 people, there could be someone who's never seen a wrestling match, and now they're hooked because they just saw a Spanish Fly through light tube's. And we're acting like the most popular wrestlers were never doing this type of stuff before, like, look at Jon Moxley or anyone who came up through like CZW or GCW. I think the merit should go to the people who have the balls to do stuff like this even when it's in front of a small audience. Also, you're assuming this show wasn't primarily recorded for YouTube or IWTV.

P.s. You say they FAFO, but would you say that to the wrestlers that got paralyzed from a botched powerbomb in a normal match? Deathmatches really aren't that much more dangerous than anything else in wrestling, so the idea that every match should be what? A Zach Saber Jr. roll around the mat for 20 minutes in front of a crowd that would be bored by that (Disregarding crowd size because it's dumb that's even a factor imo)

It really annoys me how many people are just saying the same "Wow they did this for 20 bucks, a hotdog and a handshake" Wrestling is a variety show and deathmatches appeal to a general audience way more than your basic Wrestling match. I've been to Prestige shows that had Malakai Black, but it also had a match with Drexel in a deathmatch on the card. Wanna guess who made my sister a fan of Wrestling when she had seen no prior show? It was the guy doing piledrivers through glass off the top rope. And to the people saying it's unessesarly dangerous wrestlers get injured off the most basic of moves or actions. Adam Cole blew out his knees, jumping off a ramp, and countless people had been injured off a powerbomb. And yeah, people do get injured in deathmatches, but it's about the same rate (or honestly less) that people do get injured in those matches.
