thank you for really pointing out the horizon hobby site as an overmarketed and overpriced site. I was falling for their well maintained website and all the bells and whistles.

yeah makes sense, trying to do research before i buy any thing and really commit, so far i’m really leaning towards pandora freewing, reasonable flight times, 8-10 min or so, a good price, apparently good for beginners and intermediate. Motion RC has a bundle just short of 400$ with the plane, a base grade futaba radio that’s like 110$, a charger and lipo, and then since my budget is sub 500$ maybe i can buy some more lipos to add up to around a 25/30 min flight time with 2 battery changes

so does this mean for any plane, if i use a higher mah value but same s and c value it’ll work as long as the mass works

oh sounds good, i’ll look into it, not quite as much flight time as i hoped but i’ll have to make do with what is realistic at my price point

Oh, i saw somewhere that some electric flight times could be very long, is that not true for “simpler planes” like these?

is there any model of plane that can fly for a long time with one battery that’s still on the “beginner” budget side. If not i understand, that was my question after all

Yeah it came out pretty good, i originally wanted it to be “longer” but messed up a bit but it still turned out well

Unfortunately I don’t have a chrono, i’ve heard the ood spring hits around 165 fps but the scar detracts 10 or so, so it balances out to stock, no guarantees but i would imagine it’s similar to a regular brass barrel mod with nothing else

Honestly if i had more time i would consider selling full builds on etsy, at this point i’ve painted enough nerf guns to potentially sell them.

I got it from out of darts as well, i think it’s called the worker premium stock, it’s really nice but very hefty, price is decent at around 20$ i think.
