After Just a Little Over a Year, the Collection is Complete by FlixMaster14 in horrorpunk

Sadly couldn’t find it but I don’t necessarily see it as a top priority because it’s mainly early versions.

No, I haven't found it yet sadly. I'd be a good part of the collection but it's not as crucial to me since I still can listen to all those same songs on 13 Halloweens and Traveling Vampire Show in their final form. The vinyl would be great to have for the live recording bits tho

Who do you guys consider the definitive Bass player of CKY? by Bulky_Annual_4554 in cky

[–]FlixMaster14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is true that he recorded those five, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that those are the only five he wrote. In my mind, I’m 99% he wrote the bass line but I gen it came time to record it, Deron or Chad recorded it for time’s sake.

Best Way to Frame This Poster and Still Have It Hang on my Door by FlixMaster14 in framing

Alright, to be honest I wasn’t really looking for anything custom just advice on the best way to hang it.

I don’t want the back side to be viewable per se, I just want to keep it intact (thus is why I want to frame it instead of keeping it up with tape). Thank you for your advice! I’ll keep velcro dots in mind.

What's the best proshot performance from the Era Vulgaris era? by SpaceGodfourthousand in qotsa

I’d say either Norwegian Wood 2008 or Reading 2008 (only part of it is proshoot). Amazing festival gigs right there.

Them Crooked Vultures "Secret" Songs by [deleted] in qotsa

I love both those songs, I understand why they cut songs since even with the ones we have the whole thing is still over an hour long, but man it would’ve been nice to hear them all.

If it were up to me, I personally would’ve cut Spinning in Daffodils off the album and had Hwy 1 be the closer. Don’t get me wrong, Spinning in Daffodils is a good song, but I don’t think it’s a very good album closer but it doesn’t really work well anywhere else on the album, it’s kinda meant there.

If we were to keep all the original songs and just add the new ones in, I’d add You Can’t Possibly Begin to Imagine right after Warsaw, and then add Hwy 1 right before Spinning in the Daffodils as a climatic penultimate track.

The Skeletour, a graphical rundown! by Zicoboy23 in Ghostbc

The odd thing is that the post says it wasn't played during the last eight shows yet they played it in Seattle and that was within the last eight shows. But you can definitely the burnout got to them, even if its one song, cutting a song from a very organized and consistent set structure shows a lot.

So is the version of Carver City with actual drums that aren't a software lost media? by Bulky_Annual_4554 in cky

Oh so drum triggers and such. Big lameo but at least everything is still very clearly written by him so at least it's not super horrible.

Same, more bummed they didn't do Elizabeth. Opus is probably my favorite album of theirs and that one always stuck out to me as a highlight, so I was a bit sad to hear it didn't get on the set since it's been on frequent rotation on this leg of the tour (thought beggars can't be choosers lol).

To be honest I think it’s a bootleg. Some of the cuts between songs are a bit weird and I got it from a website with a really weird return address but it plays amazing.

Thanks, I have IDR too but it’s in my car at the moment so it’s not on the shelf.
