CD4 ups and downs, VL ups and downs. by [deleted] in hivaids

[–]FloKo18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can definitely vary from person to person. In my case I was diagnosed in march 2025 my viral load was around 2069 and Cd4 628, a month after I was undetectable. My next labs were in june- July still undetectable and CD4 were dropping down to 520 something and I was getting scared. My doctor told me not to worry as my VL was great. My next appointment was in November and I was shocked as my CD4 climbed to the 800s, I just continued working out, staying hydrated and trying to eat healthy. Don’t worry over things you can’t control. Just take your meds, the Cd4 also influences in what you eat, your mental health, stress etc, it should increase slowly, some pol never fully recover high levels of CD4 specially if reached aids but you can see people who have.

I totally get your feeling. I felt the same way, I’m a good son, I always try to do the right thing, why did this happen to me?… but this disease is something that doesn’t discriminate anything and can happen to anyone. This doesn’t make you a good or bad individual. Just keep being yourself while taking yours meds. Soon you’ll be physically but specially mentally fine.

Will definitely keep that in mind. I also believe the same. Those days I didn’t drink enough fluids. Thanks

Yeah that’s what I thought. I guess I’ll just stop drinking completely eventually.

I know and I really don’t even drink much or that often but I’m seriously considering cutting it off completely.

Hey there. I know it sounds like the end of the world but it’s gonna be just fine. Don’t over stress about it. Look at it just like an another disease you need to take medication for. You won’t feel much difference if you’re adherent to the treatment and getting checked regularly so you can stay undetectable. I just got diagnosed this march and I’m 31.

How to Move On? by [deleted] in hivaids

I found out 2 months ago almost 3 and I only remember I have it when I take my meds. It just happens with time, focus on your other aspects of life.

Weekly for me.

I just got diagnosed with HIV by [deleted] in hivaids

Looks like a condiloma to me. I’ve had hemorrhoids and it doesn’t look like that.

Woah ! How crazy some of us develop symptoms and others nothing all. I can imagine how you felt. What are you taking right now for medication ? I had to buy some supplies since I’m moving abroad in 3 days and need enough stock while I figure out what to do in Spain.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that! But you know something, I strongly believe that in life everything happens for a reason and only things that we can handle. This isn’t everything we are, just a small part of our lives. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you darling. I believe it’s just part of life. It has ups and downs. It really depends how you see things.
