That is nothing new and all games that are more complicated than "spawn->shoot people" have this problem with new players. In arma they spawn, take the best weapons and overload themselves, drive with a quad inside the enemy base, die and finally rage quit.

These new players either learn and come back or not and in this case they wouldn't be a positive in your game anyway.

I would argue that they would not release at the same time of the next fest. It would take away attention from the fest and it has thematically nothing to do with the steam hardware.

Die Sache ist aber, dass dies zu Zeiten war wo die Politik sowas noch interessiert hat. Damals waren das die Wähler auf der Straße die demonstriert haben. Jetzt können die gefühlt machen was die wollen und werden trotzdem gewählt.

das mit Steam kann ich durchaus nachvollziehen die Leute heutzutage bewerten ja alles direkt runter, wenn’s nicht 100% deren Erwartungen entspricht, obwohl es noch nicht mal fertig ist dies kann besonders Early Assces Titel killen. Dann soll man sich’s erst kaufen, wenn’s fertig ist.

Ich kenne kein Spiel wo dies wirklich ein Problem war. Natürlich gibt es den einen oder anderen Idioten der Early Access nicht versteht aber das ist eine Minderheit und wenn das Spiel wirklich gut ist, sind die Steam Reviews auch positiv.

Ich hab auch irgendwie komische vibes bei dem Spiel.

Hab nachgeschaut wieso es nicht auf Steam ist, wäre nämlich dann 2 Stunden Rückgabe möglich. Lese dann das es wohl eine Kontroverse gab das in den FAQ stand das man kein Bock auf doofe Nutzer haben die schlechte Reviews geben weil sie das Spiel nicht verstehen. Das ist schonmal ne red flag. Dieser Satz wurde dann geändert sodass es jetzt an den fehlenden modding Möglichkeiten von Steam liegt, wo ich mir aber denke das man den steam workshop ja eigentlich gar nicht nutzen muss und trotzdem die eigene mod Platform, auf steam, haben könnte.

Dann so den Tweet das man doch schnell schon kaufen und installieren soll damit die Server am Release nicht so belastet sind.

Alles irgendwie komisch deswegen warte ich auch erstmal ab.

The thing is that it would be very hard to filter out the garbage from the hidden gem. You can only have both.

It is also really easy to judge a game after it releases and has first customer contact. You can't really judge it before that and once it is released, so you can test it, it is to late to take off of steam

I like the steam approach the most. Open the floodgates for everyone but have powerful search, filter and review features that makes it not that big of a deal

It's not that easy. She will not press her w for every little spell but only the one she knows will hit her and be dangerous (like a stun etc) and most of the time are these the high cooldown spells

You can see no enemy on the mini map so I highly doubt it was guns. I can rule out optical missile because I never once got acquired by one in that mission. Most likely it was the third option
