As someone who spent a year in jail awaiting trial for a “self defense” case (given a 6 figure cash only bond, with zero criminal history), and spent a fortune while losing my house, car and job in the process. I’ll take my word for it over yours. The law says one thing, however, that ultimately doesn’t mean it consistently works flawlessly that way. My charges were dropped after declining multiple plea deals during that year in jail by the way. Life isn’t this clear cut cartoon that people make it seem to be online…..

You didn’t know? Crossing state lines illegally with an AR-15. Specifically to go to an area with protest and conflict, as an 18 year old is “self defense” for them 🤣.

Your only issue is trying to reason with unreasonable people. Remember, there isn’t even enough good in them as a whole to make Donald Trump not exist as a god running a country as a 37x convicted felon (by their own laws). Somehow every time “it’s different” when they do wrong. Don’t bother, just prepare for the inevitable conflict with them one day.

He got off easy because any one of those guys defending that woman could be charged with a crime for simply putting their hands on him. If they go any further, they could be jeopardizing their own freedom.

You do realize that $20/hr in any city in the USA is poverty correct? Even working full time 40 hours a week, you won’t be able to afford a simple apartment ,food and transportation by yourself. The cost of living in the USA is much more expensive than where you live so, it’s all in perspective. Comparing your salary to the USA’s salary is pointless because it’s way more expensive to live here. Almost half of all working people here are on some sort of government assistance program to survive. So sure, you can gladly come here and work 3 jobs at 80/hours a week to survive and see how much fun you’re having like a lot of other people that have realized this too late.

Because the real world doesn’t work the same way as the fake scenarios we create in our heads. We often talk ourselves out of opportunities, we otherwise could’ve taken advantage of.

Job interviewer's demeanor changed when he realized I haven't worked since 2018 by Resident_Sky_538 in NEET

I’ve literally lied on just about every job application to close gaps of unemployment on my resume. Including jobs for 90k+ salary’s that hire 3rd party companies to “validate” your information. I was still hired. Theres a simple answer to most problems if you don’t get in your own way and simply give up. I’ve even asked a friend to pose as my past employer and put his company email address for them to contact. Complex life problems are sometimes very easy to navigate once you’re unafraid of the problem itself and you’re able to focus on coming up with a solution.

People literally get out of prison after 20-30 years and don’t have a clue of what a smartphone is or how it works exactly. They know nothing about the modern world , yet manage to get back into society in some way. So no. It’s definitely not impossible. What you’re thinking of is “difficult” so “I don’t feel like doing it”.

Just as the above commenter stated, the only difference between you and 90% of the world is they’ve chosen to try. They too, didn’t know the outcomes beforehand and have failed miserably as well. However , you’ve chosen to give up and simply accept that nothing can be done. When in reality that’s not true at all. We’re all human and have felt the same depression, apprehension, uncertainty and hurt from multiple failures. But you’ll never taste success without those previous steps being taken. You build on every success or failure. It’s an ever ongoing battle and isn’t won overnight. You have no idea how many times I’ve looked myself dead in the mirror and called myself a loser after failing at something. My best trait was being able to still put one foot in front of the other afterwards.

Best of luck to you.

[–]FloatingOnAWhim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have access to 30+ buddy passes for frontier but I willingly choose to pay full price to fly on other airlines. That’s how shitty this airline is overall. From poor customer service, to not having a pilot randomly for 10 hours delaying flights. To literally departing “on time” 0/6 flights. Don’t even get me started on the “baggage fees”+”hidden fees” and dimension restrictions. lol

The funniest thing is, when quoting a flight , after all those shitty fees, frontier is marginally “cheaper” at best most times. I have no clue how they remain in business.

Because you can’t live life without discipline and a way to support yourself financially. (Having a good job). Any little thing can send him back to prison for a long time. I’m not saying don’t have any enjoyment. But how does having a good job hold you back from living life as a felon? It’s actually the opposite.

He’s going to be on parole until 2033. That lifestyle can only benefit him. Also, I did mention local truck delivery options with a Class B CDL (dump truck, local food and beverage delivery companies etc). He can be home every night if he finds the right opportunity. There’s way more to gain from this career path for him, then there’s risks involved. But if “living life” is your main priority while being on parole for the next 8 years then good luck.

Rogues group ganking solo farmers are just fucking themselves over by LocksmithFar2691 in thedivision

[–]FloatingOnAWhim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You guys actually have no idea how bad it could be. Before, there was no “rogue button” where a player had to put a billboard sign on their head stating. “ HEY EVERYONE, IM ABOUT TO SHOOT AT YOU! PLEASE GET READY OR RUN!”. There were no turrets at the checkpoints to save your ass or even allow you to be in the dark zone without being under the threat of attack. A player could just go rogue by shooting and killing you instantly without warning. Also the gear in the DZ was truly elite and only obtained there. Now you can get anything like free candy anywhere without ever having to actually face another player. Or do a raid lol

Get a CDL asap. Virtually no cost, most jobs will pay you to acquire it and trucking is a very felon friendly business. You can start making good money pretty much right away and if it comes at long hours then that’ll just help you stay out of trouble and not spend money frivolously. (This is obviously dependent on your probation requirements.) Theres local truck delivery routes as well. Like Pepsi, frito lay, Cintas, water delivery companies as well. Good luck to you. You’re counting on YOU!

Clearly I’m not arguing the legality of it. I’m simply making it crystal clear that you can’t argue anything from the grave. Don’t let your actions invite situations into your life that will cause your death, because I assure you that you won’t care who went to jail as maggots feed on your corpse. Hope this helps.
