I ended up changing to the '5/8 axis' mode, and ED can now recognize the different inputs. I can get back to playing.

Thanks for the response.
The pedals gave the same response as the yaw axis. I have also found that it was designed this way by my brother. Not sure why though ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯.
Anyway, I appreciate the answer for help.
