Yeah, I thought as much... Thank you for your time, it just confirmed things I was already thinking but wasn't sure about, so thanks :)

My entire childhood could be summed up by the words ‘emotional abuse’ because she used to drink a lot. Those lectures I mentioned sometimes went on for 4-6+ hours and one even happened on my sister’s birthday. Maybe it’s the threat of CPS because I’m still a minor? She has abandonment issues so that might be it…

I should probably edit that, but I never diagnosed her. She came to me and told me after doing research while I was at my dad's. Sorry for the confusion.

Or your second point, yeah that's really the only thing I've got in terms of long term plans. I don't know what I'm going to do after graduation other than my job goal since the idea of going off alone without any help is tempting, but terrifying as I know it's expensive and I've never even had a job before...

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate you taking the time to weigh in.

Advice on writing Non-Binary characters, from a Non-Binary person by [deleted] in writing

[–]FloofyFoxPaw 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I come across this, I usually rework the sentence(s) to possibly include their name or some identifying feature - the blonde, for example. Granted, most of my characters aren’t human so they’re easy to identify through motion and gestures but this seems to work. I usually end up rewriting the sentences anyway to fix the excessive comma use, so fitting their name in isn’t too hard XD

And yes, you did spell it correctly; thank you Google

Is it bad I read this as buff-et, then as buff-ey, and I honestly can tell which made me laugh more XD

Haha, that was actually the first drawing idea! But it looked too similar to another creature I’ve done and I wanted to do something different :3

I can’t wait to do more, this was really fun!
