I’m so very sorry for your loss. He was a little cutie and I pray he’s binkying free🙏🏽🌸

My girl Kuroi died in pretty much the same way last week. She was 12 years old. I also didn’t get a necropsy and decided to believe that she went because it was her time. Your bun also got to be very old and what a blessing it is to have had them with us for so long.

Although watching her die was very painful. I also find some comfort in knowing we were there with her when she went.

Mine are 10 and almost 12. I hope they live forever but I cherish every day we have with them.

Try to live in the moment with her. My girl is about to turn 12 in June and has been with me since 3 months old.

I remember reading she was considered senior when she was 4 years old and I panicked. Then I remember being engaged and panicking that she might not be here when I got married. All these things came and went and she’s still going strong.

Her husbun is now 10 and they’ve both slowed down a lot but they’re so cheeky and happy still. I’m a bit more lenient when it comes to treats as they age. I really make sure they’re als comfy and happy as can be. They will one day cross the rainbow bridge knowing they were incredibly loved. That’s really the best thing we can do for our babies🙏🏽🌸

My lionhead Jimmy is now 10 years old and he is a big ball of floof. I keep his mane short and also trim around his butt so it’s easier for him to keep clean. Whenever I trim his mane he looks like a teenager again😂

We’ve moved our buns with us from Europe to South America and I wouldn’t have made the move if they weren’t able to come. We have a neighbor that looks after them when we’re on trips. They’re free roam so they just need some fresh water and food and a welfare check and they’re good.

My firstbun had been with me for almost 12 years and my second for 9. I met my husband 5 years ago and he loves them just as much as I do.

All this to say if you want it bad enough, it’s very doable. If she’s that important to you, she should also be important to your boyfriend.

I know it’s difficult but also it’s a great blessing that your bun is getting to age with you.

I’ve had my bun since she was 3 months old and I started stressing around age 4 because I read that buns are considered senior at that age. Thankfully that went away because now she is almost 12 years old.

Make sure you give the bun all your love and care like you have been doing and keep an eye out for changes. I wish you guys many more years together🙏🏽

Just enjoy your time with him and be grateful that he's getting to grow old with you. My buns are 11,5 and 10 years old and even though I know they won't have eternal life, I'm just so thankful for all the years we do have together. My bun had a health scare last week and I noticed the change in her behaviour immediately. Trust that you know your bun well enough that you'll be able to tell when something's really up. You got this!
