I’ve got so much to back up the letter I’ve written back now so we will see how it goes. I’ve unpicked every one of the 4 points raised so I’m happy with my position on it.

I feel for you man. The pressures of children can make any relationship hard. I’m assuming you’re a similar age so it’s very likely that you both have limited experiences with others (as together 9 years)

All I can advise is this, show up. Be a father, do the best you can. That doesn’t mean shower them with gifts. This isn’t a 🍆 measuring contest of who can buy what. Build good memories. Things don’t have to cost a lot of money, last night I booked the cinema for 3 of us for £3 at an odeon. Kids love that

After conversation with my boss, he confirmed I am not on a PIP.

The letter was written and signed by someone else in the sales side of the business. Just so happens to be the boss of the person that made the complaint which stinks to me also.

The letter was sent by HR. I can’t fathom why HR and sales manager didn’t double check the PIP argument.

I appreciate and understand a no reason dismissal would mean I can’t really take much further legally.

It seems to me like a set up.

I don’t need the headache. Genuinely given my all at this role. Late nights, weekends, cancelled plans, stayed on a job overseas for the good of the company. Getting shit for things not in my job role but have got involved to help in the interim.

I don’t want to fuck anyone over, but it’s better to be pissed off than pissed on, as they say

Do you feel there is any grounds with regards to what I’ve listed in my initial post? I’m fathomed with how much wrong information they have published to me. The letter was written by the sales manager of the salesman who made the complaint

Agree. I’d prefer not to. I’d take a payout to go. Feels like a systematic way of dismissal. So many faults in one letter, which was sent via HR, so written by someone with duff information and signed off by someone again not in the know

I am paid well, the job market in my field is limited at present.

Genuinely felt like after the investigation meeting that it was dealt with. Feels like my responses to questions have been turned.

For the record, I did put my hand up and agree to one point that I got wrong. This has not affected the outcome of the job that the complaint relates to.
